Safari Itinerary

Kruger Safaris can be offered in a range of comfort, from camping to National Park accommdotion, as well as options on private reserves outside the park with greater comfort and generally fantastic sightings - safaris range from 3-7days - contact us for details

Day 1 Berg an Dal Camp, Kruger National Park
Depart from Johannesburg early to allow for various collection points. The route takes us through the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld area and stop for lunch en-route (own expense) before we reach the Kruger National Park and Berg an Dal Rest Camp in the afternoon. After settling in to our accommodation, go out on your first game drive which is a SAN PARKS sunset drive, this drive affords you the opportunity to see nocturnal animals that are more active at night and the park's rangers are allowed to return after the normal gate closing times. Note that these drives take place in one of the Kruger Park's vehicles with a Park's ranger.

Day 2-5 Berg an Dal Camp, Kruger National Park
Safaris are all about early morning, getting out there and seeing animals! After an early wake-up call (the time varies according to the seasons and park gate opening times) have tea or coffee and rusks (dried biscuits to be dunked in your drink!) then set off on the morning safari, which will take approximately 3-4hours. Your guide has an intimate knowledge of the park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!

Day 6 Panorama Route to Johannesburg
This morning we sadly have to leave the park, we still have one more chance for game viewing from our closed, air conditioned tour vehicle as we leave the park. The drive out of the park should take around 1 and half to 2 hours. The fianl highlight of our safaris is exploring the renowned Panorama Route! Attractions visited include the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavals, Lisbon Waterfalls and God's Window.

Optional Excursion (free of charge)
The oparator offers an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route in all Kruger Safaris of 3 days or longer stopping in one of the small towns en-route for breakfast (included) and visit attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and God's Window. Return to Skukuza at around 11h00. This excursion is available free of charge, replaces one of the morning drives and will be co-ordinated by the staff while you are on safari.
