Safari Itinerary

Day 1 Villa Vista Guesthouse, Windhoek
Collect your vehicle and drive to Villa Vista located close to the city centre a small and informal retreat offering high-pesonalised service. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Omboroko Campsite, Okonjima Nature Reserve
Your adventure begins driving north out of the city and onto Okonjima, home of the AfriCat Foundation - this afternoon join an excursion to find out about this non-profit organisation set up to conserve and protect threatened cheetah, leopard and other carnivores of Namibia.

Day 3-5 Hoada Campsite, Damaraland
Continue your drive to the heart of Northern Damaraland and onto Hoada Community Campsite. Head out in search of desert elephants, perhaps track rhino.... or maybe enjoy walks or nature drives... a stunning location

Day 6-8 Okaukuejo/Hslsli/Namutoni Campsite, Etosha National Park
Onto Namibia's premier wildlife park - Etosha! Spend 3nights in park and search for the many species of game found here including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, hyena and large herds of antelope. The endangered black rhino is often seen coming to drink at the floodlit waterholes of Okaukuejo and Halali. The salt pan of Etosha is unmissable.

Day 9 Hakusembe River Lodge Camping, Kavango
An early morning for a long drive to Rundu, there is a significant change along the way as more villages and more people are apparent, cattle and goats graze by the side of the road as the area has much more of a water resource.

Day 10-11 Nunda River Lodge, Bwabwata National Park
Journey through Divundu and onto Nunda River Lodge located on the banks of the Okavango River. From your base you can drive into Mahango Game Reserve, Buffalo Reserve or enjoy optional activities such as a mokoro excursion or boat cruise along the river watching out for hippos and crocs.

Day 12 Namushasha River Lodge Campsite, Bwabwata National park
Drive across the famous Caprivi Strip, wedged between Botswana and Angola, this strip of land links Namibia with both Zambia and Zimbabwe and of course the famous Victoria Falls. Your Lodge sits on the banks of the Kwando River, opposite Bwabwata Park so look out for crocodiles and hippos from the wooden deck.

Day 13-14 Chobe Safari Lodge Campsite, Chobe River Front
Cross the border today onto Botswana, driving through Chobe National park to Kasane where you will be based for the next 2nights. The camp is situated on the river and adjacent to the park, here you can enjoy optional activities such as a boat cruise or game drive into the park to search for wildlife such as hippo, crocodiles and huge elephant herds.

Day 15-16 Amadeus Garden, Victoria Falls, Zimbambwe
Your final nights are spent at one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World - the Victoria Falls. A visit to see them is an absolute must, and in addition to this is the huge variety of optional activities surrounding them. Scenic flights, microlighting, bungee jumping, game drives, elephant back rides - the list is endless.
