Safari Itinerary

Day 1 Olive Grove Guesthouse, Windhoek
Collect your vehicle and drive to Olive Grove Guesthouse, depending on the time of your arrival you may choose to wander into the city centre, relax by the pool or perhaps a massage and unwind from your flight.

Day 2 Epako Safari Lodge, Erongo
Depart Windhoek and drive north of Omaruru and Epako Lodge - this afternoon relax and enjoy watching the game come to drink. The lodge has a number of rhino along with giraffe who wander around the lodge keeping an eye open on the guests. There's also a spa to enjoy a relaxing massage

Day 3-4 Doro Nawas Camp, Damaraland
Drive through the barren landscapes of Damaraland to Doro Nawas Camp located in the beautiful region of Damaraland, where you will be based for 2 nights giving you time to enjoy the region and join optional activities. Optional activities revolve around the game found in and around the Huab River Valley, that occasionally fill the floodwater in the rainy season; a favorite being a guided 4x4 trip to track desert-adapted elephants. Many of the guests also head out on a fascinating expedition to the local rock art site at nearby Twyfelfontein. There is also a walking trail in the vicinity of the Lodge.

Day 5-6 Etendeka Mountain Camp, Damaraland
Your destination today is Etendeka Mountain Lodge - located in northern Damaraland lies this wonderful lodge where your experience with nature is second-to-none. The focus lies on exploring the area by foot and in open vehicles looking for free-roaming game

Day 7 Opuwo Country Lodge, Kaokoland
Today depart for the dusty town of Opuwo, the gateway to the Kunene region in the north-western part of Namibia. The remote area south of the Kunene River is the home of the Himba people, who have kept their ethnic individuality and culture in the seclusion of Kaokoland.

Day 8-9 Epupa Lodge, Kunene
Continue to the most northerly point - the Kunene River. you'll spend 2nights here on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis giving you time to explore the falls. Watch out for the crocodiles!

Day 10 Dolomite Camp, Etosha National Park
Onward to Etosha, one of the best game reserves in Southern Africa, entering the park through the western gate. You'll spend a night inside the national park on the west aspect, home to game such as mountain zebra.

Day 11 Okaukuejo Rest Camp, Etosha National Park
Today game drive across the park to Okaukuejo stopping at the waterholes along the way - make time to visit Okendaka north of Okaukuejo with a fantastic view over the Etosha Pan, there's a resident lion pride

Day 12 Ongava Lodge, Etosha National Park
Tonight is spent at Ongava Private Game Reserve adjacent to Etosha, this is a beautiful lodge and the reserve is home to rhino, large prides of lion, along with game not found in Etosha such as waterbuck. Join shared activities such as night drives, game drives and game walks.

Day 13 Okonjima Plains Camp, Okonjima Nature Reserve
Enjoy an early morning activity today then depart head south to Okonjima - set on a private reserve activities are focused on finding predators such as leopard or cheetah, along with learning about conservation in Namibia and what is being done to protect some of these great animals. A highly recommended destination

Day 14 Departure
Depending on your departure time, there may be time to join an activity (own expense) with Okonjima before you return to Windhoek, you can also stop at Okahandja, for some last minute souvenir shopping at the craft with your onward flight back home. No flights prior to mid afternoon.
