Safari Itinerary

Day 1 Kuidas Camp, Skeleton Coast
Departing from Eros Airport, fly to via Conception Bay and enjoy aerial views of Eduard Bohlen shipwreck now around 200m inland. From Swakopmund fly north along the coast past the Cape Cross seal colony and cross the desert to the Ugab Formations, a near lifeless "moon landscape". Continue to Kuidas Camp in the Huab River where ancient rock engravings are found amongst the rocks

Day 2 Leylandsdrift Camp, Skeleton Coast
We continue via vehicle to explore the colourful red lava and yellow sandstone of the Huab River where we have the chance to learn about the ecological aspects of the flora and fauna of this remarkable area. Fly along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast National Park where the most prominent shipwrecks are the Henrietta and Montrose. We visit the roaring dunes, along with the coast with its old bleached whale bones and beach full of stones from agate and quartz. From here fly north to Hoarusib Valley

Day 3 Kunene River Camp
Take part in a scenic drive along the Hoarusib Valley and meet with some of the local Himba people, also watch out for desert-elephant who wend their way through the dry riverbed. From here its a scenic drive to a favourite luch spot then continue through the mountains and dunes of the Hartmanns Valley which extends to the Kunene River

Day 4 Departure
Enjoy an early morning boat trip along the Kunene River as it flows through the scenic desert landscape before later flying back to Windhoek Eros Airport.
