Day 1&2 Thorntree River Lodge, Livingstone (Victoria Falls), Zambia

On day 1, begin your honeymoon in style, where your first two nights will be at the beautiful Thorntree River Lodge, located upstream from Victoria Falls on a quiet stretch of the mighty Zambezi River on a fully inclusive basis – perhaps enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls, relax on a sunset river cruise, track protected rhino on foot  take part in a cultural tour, or even visit the in–house spa for a full body massage – there is a range of options to choose from

Day 3–5 Somalisa Camp, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

A light aircraft will take you to Hwange National Park and onward to Somalisa Camp, nestled under a grove of acacia trees and on the edge of a seasonal flood plain – join exciting game drives and adventurous walkking safaris.  Hwange is a wildlife haven renowned for its huge herds of elephants and buffalo.  The camp has an elephant pool located at the edge of camp and a rewarding place to spend a little time to watch these gentle giants bathe, drink and commmunicate in their unique way.  Evenings are sparked with romance under great African skies listening to the sounds of the bush

Day 6  The Peech Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa

A return flight will take you back to Victoria Falls and onward to Johannesburg to overnight in South Africa’s urban playground.

Day 7–11 Azura Quilalea Private Island, Quilalea Island, Mozambique

Fly onward to Pemba in Mozambique and a helicopter flight will take you to the gorgeous private island of Quilalea where you spend 5 blissful days  together, whether it’s relaxing on the beach, venturing on nature walks or simply in each other’s company in the privacy of your own villa.  Perhaps explore the turquoise waters, sandy beaches and palm trees on this secluded slice of heaven. For those wishing to be a little active you can snorkel or dive together on the thriving coral reefs – the area was the first marine protected area in the Quirimbas Archipelago and an internationally significant conservation area with a wealth of colourful fish, along with eels, turtles an other marine life. You can also choose to visit nearby Ibo Island for its fascinatig architecture and cultural history, or head out for a Turtle Beach picnic – if you are here during the breeding season you may be lucky to see these wonderful creatures coming ashore to lay her eggs on the beach.
