A fly–in safari taking in the dramatic landscapes of Zimbabwe full of endless skies, untamed beauty, thriving wildlife and a rich and varied culture.  This luxury tour of around 4* + gives you the opportunity to spend your days on exciting game drives to spot various animal species, explore the magnificent Zambezi River on a canoe safari, or relax on a boat cruise on the seemingly endless Lake Kariba.  There’s also the opportunity to roam the national parks on foot – a truly thrilling experience led by specialist guides. This safari runs between April–November on a "upon–request" basis.

Day 1–3  Zambezi Expeditions, Mana Pools National Park 

On Day 1, you’ll fly from Harare to Mana Pools National Park and spend the first three nights at one of the continent’s premier game–viewing areas, here you can take part in an array of activities including canoe trips, game drives, river cruises, bird watching and nature walks.  Experience the striking beauty and diverse fauna from hippos and crocs on the river, to elephants, plains game and predators on drives and walks

Day 4–6 Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, Lake Kariba

Our next stop takes us to the beautiful Lake Kariba, and Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is perched on top of a range of hills overlooking the lake within an extensive conservation area. Spend your days cruising on the blue waters of the lake, or meandering the surrounds on a walking safari, discover the anciet secrets within the fossilised dinosaur footprints unique to this area.  Join star–gazing, boating, birding, fishing, along with day and night game drives. 

Day 7–9  Somalisa Acacia Camp, Hwange National Park

A flight today take you onward to Hwange and this exceptional park is a wildlife haven renowned for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo.  The lodge, located on the Somalisa private concession, is nestled under a grove of acacia trees on the edge of a seasonal flood plain – join exciting game drives and adventurous walking safaris, both in the private concession and the national park.  The lodge has an "Elephant Pool" – watch as these gentle giants bathe, drink and communicate in their unique way and enjoy these up–close encounters

Day 10  Victoria Falls – end

Your safari comes to an end today when you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport in time for onward concession
