From Maun we travel to a game farm located close to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve near the northern border, once here set up camp and later in the afternoon the real adventure begins with a nature walk led by local San Bushman trackers who will share their unique and fascinating culture with you
Today enter the pristine wilderness of Botswana’s largest game reserve and the following days will be spent exploring the undeveloped wilderness of the northern region, moving to different camps to maximise your experience of different locations. Witness the huge and clear night skies with sparkling stars, vast open plains and pans, along with uninterrupted beauty on game drives. There are beautiful inter–dune valleys and after the rains grasses are flush with grasses attracting game including springbok and oryx
Moving on to Deception Valley, enjoy further game drives in this captivating location and its surroundings. On all nights, campsites are in private designated sites with bush ablutions away from it all. Watch out for wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah and of course, the famous Kalahari black–maned lions
