We depart from Port Elizabeth making our way to Addo Elephant Park and enjoy game drives exploring one of South Africa’s largest park and its incredible wildlife. It’s totally unique and home to the ‘Big 7’ – the Big 5 plus the southern right whale and great white shark found off the coast of the Algoa Bay – no other park worldwide can make this claim! This finely–tuned Marine & Coastal park provides a huge biodiverse eco–system anda sanctuary to large numbers of elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, spotted hyena, leopard, antelope, zebra and over 400 bird species and we spend the next days experiencing fantastic game drives with your guides
We make our way to Storms River and Tsitsikamma Mountain Range along the picturesque Garden Route enjoying the sights along the way. Later today experience the John Benn sunset cruise – it’s known as one of the best floating restaurants in Knysna before spending a night in central town surrounded by world–renowned forests, lovely lagoons and pristine beaches
A leisurely morning before making our way crossing the scenic Overberg region and onward to Agulhas National Park in the south Cape officially recognised as the southern–most tip of Africa and where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans collide
Onward to one of the most beautiful regions on the route – after the chance to spot the occasional shipwreck as we move onwards from Agulhas. We stop at Hermanus and if the season is right – we may be lucky enough to spot southern right whales as they migrate through the oceans, continuing on our journey, our final afternoon is taken up near Stellenbosch with a wonderful wine–tasting experience before our tour comes to an end in Cape Town and where you are dropped at your accommodation – make sure you add a couple of nights here!
