Day 1 Gauteng to Kruger National Park
An early departure allows us to have lunch en-route (own expense) and reach the Park around mid-day. The afternoon is spent game viewing in our open game drive vehicle. Dinner is served under the stars at our ideally located dining facility, weather permitting.(D)
Day 2 Full day in the park
After an early wake-up call, tea or coffee & some snacks, you set off in our open game drive vehicle for the morning safari which will take approximately 3-4 hours. On returning to Skukuza rest camp your breakfast/brunch will be ready at our camp. You then have time to enjoy a swim, visit the Skukuza museum, catch up on some sleep, visit the park shop which includes African curios, general food items and drinks, take a walk around the camp, or simply relax at the viewing platform in front of the restaurant, which overlooks the Sabie River.
Classic & Budget Safari guests have a SAN PARKS sunset drive included. Note that these drives take place in one of the Kruger Park’s vehicles with a Park’s ranger. This is not a private game drive and there may be other guests on this drive. Camping guests will go in search of game in our open vehicle with our ranger, although the sunset drive is available as an optional extra activity at a nominal extra charge should you wish to join that.(B&D)
