Eastern Namibia, also known at the Omaheke Region brings the start of the Kalahari and the land of the San people.  Red linear sand dunes, tree- filled basins and desert game are part of the attraction, it also takes you on the main route (Trans Kalahari Highway) across to Botswana via Gobabis or the Kgalagadi Game Reserve in South Africa.
