This morning we recommend you get up early to be out of camp by sunrise for your morning game drive. This is an exceptional time to view the game inside Etosha as the animals, like us, are more active in the cooler parts of the day. Etosha National Park is renowned as one of the best game reserves in Africa, is a haven for wildlife and supports one of the most important ecological and wildlife systems on the continent. At 22,270km sq this huge park hosts an impressive collection of game including the white rhino and endangered black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe and numerous species of antelope as well as an impressive 340 species of birds - enough to keep any nature and wildlife enthusiast happy.Return to camp for the heat of the day, or alternatively you may like to continue your game driving to the next camp, Halali, where you can have lunch, take a swim, or sit by the waterhole. While near Halali we recommend that you take the time to visit the mighty Etosha Pan. This massive saltpan, once filled with water, can be seen from space and spans some 4500 sq km. Game drive back to camp arriving before sunset. Overnight in a twin room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.
