Hobatere Lodge is strategically located 65 km north of Kamanjab on the western border of Etosha National Park. The lodge has an airstrip and is situated in a concession area of 32 000 ha which is home to a wide selection of game, including elephant, giraffe, eland, and Hartmann's zebra.
Hobatere offers the visitor the opportunity to experience game drives in open vehicles and nature walks with experienced rangers. Early morning and night game drives are offered where many nocturnal animals, such as aardvark, cape fox, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, genet and many more are encountered. An experience not to be missed.
The name Hobatere means "find it for me" and once you do, you will be pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and personalized service. Excellent bush cuisine is served on the verandah as well as "braais" at the boma. The lodge offers a well stocked bar with a comprehensive wine list, a small curio shop, as well as a comfortable lounge with a small library. |

Accommodation is offered in comfortably furnished chalets and twin- bedded rooms all under thatch, each with en-suite bathrooms. About 300 meters from the swimming pool there is a hide overlooking a waterhole where elephants and many more animals are often seen.
A special treat - Hobatere offers a unique rustic tree house overlooking a waterhole, where one can overnight and experience the nocturnal sound of Africa. A private retreat for the closest possible contact with nature.
Activities at Hobatere Lodge include swimming in a pool with a view over a waterhole, day and night game drives with an expert guide, nature walks with specialized guides and game viewing.
