Nestled between Okahandja, Otjiwarongo and Omaruru lies a large private game reserve, at around 71,000ha it teems with game including elephant, leopard, lion, as well as endangered species such as wild dog and cheetah.  All these animals are free roaming in the reserve so you will not experience the feeling of watching game behind a fence.

The lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole that is also home to hippo and crocodiles.  You can sit on the wooden deck enjoying a sundowner drink as the game comes to quench their thirst.  The deck leads into the lounge and dining area so throughout your evening you are able to witness the movements of the animals whilst you relax. 

Each of the 35 rooms has a view over another floodlit waterhole, a private verandah, roll in beds, tv, safe, fridge and tea/coffee facilities.  The spacious, marble lined bathrooms have duel sinks, a bath as well as shower.  There are also rooms suitable for disabled travellers.  Children of all ages are welcome and there is swimming pool and games room to help keep them entertained.

Activities include game drives with experienced guides that will do their best to find some of the more elusive species - you may be lucky enough to see wild dog, cheetah or lion on a kill, or a herd of elephants.  Their indepth knowledge of the reserve and their attention to detail will ensure you have a rewarding experience.  Game viewing is in open sided vehicles to ensure you get a real feel for the outdoors and activities are in the morning and afternoon.
