De Duine Hotel is located in Henties Bay, a popular spot for locals and tourists that love to fish. Henties Bay is a quieter option than the slightly busier town of Swakopmund, and ideal for families wanting to completely unwind, enjoy the beach and throw a line in.
The hotel itself has twenty standard en-suite rooms, a seafood restaurant, residents bar, or a public bar (with billards table) for those wishing to mingle with the locals as well as squash courts and a small swimming pool for those wishing to keep active during their holiday.
De Duine is centrally located and is very close to Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Spitzkoppe and Brandberg. For those that don't like fishing, but love the great outdoors there are plenty of hiking options in the area including an 18km trail, a 20km trail, and for those with plenty of time and energy, a 70km hike along the Omaruru River. Be sure to collect a map from the tourist centre before heading out as these hikes are unmarked! |
