Cañon Roadhouse is situated just 20kms from the famous Fish River Canyon main viewpoint making it an ideal place to stay if wishing to view the canyon, or join a hike in the area. In addition you can learn all about the local flora and fauna on a visit to the Canyon Information Centre, where there is an abundance of information for visitors to absorb.
The decor of the lodge itself is very unique, which makes it even more exciting to spend a night or a couple of days here because of it being so different compared to other lodges. Antiques adorn the walls i the dining hall, and a visit to 'Wheels Bar' will clench your thirst after a long day on the road.
Rooms are clean and simple wt a touch of quirkiness, each with their own style. Offering 24 en-suite rooms all of which are equipped with a fan and a mosquito net. There is a petrol station and a swimming pool as well as campsites.
