| Budget Accommodation in Damaraland & North West (Namibia) |
|
Damaraland is one of the most stunning regions in Namibia. With incredible landscapes that include granite mountains and kopjies, ancient lava fields and some of the most bizarre plant life you can almost expect to see a dinasaur appear around the corner. It is also home to some amazing rock etchings and paintings and is at the heart of some of Namibia's most ancient history and beginnings for early man. Top this with a sparse population and a wilderness that is home to desert adapted elephant and the last free-roaming black rhino it's an area that should be included in every itinerary.

In addition to the above there are several community camp sites in the region, however, as it's difficult for us to book and pay for the services in advance we suggest that you find somewhere you like and incorporate this into your trip, paying for it upon arrival. Please note that whilst most places will allow you to stay during high season you take the risk of camp sites being full without prior confirmation.
