Situated on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve on an exclusive, private area, Deception Valley focuses itself on revealing the secrets of the Kalahari, a desert in name only, through the medium of interacting with San ‘Bushmen’, who have learnt to extract all they need from this harsh environment and continue to survive.
Accommodation is in 8 deluxe suites, each consisting of a twin bedroom, a lounge and a Victorian style bathroom with an outside shower. Each unit has a deck where you can sit and gaze at the vastness of the Kalahari and the incredible night skies.
Activities : walking and tracking with indigenous San ‘Bushmen’, and game drives both off road and at night. Game densities are low but the variety is good, and lion and leopard are regularly sighted.
Kids - All ages welcome and there are family units available but note clients need to have a private safari vehicle
